Golf is a sport that consists mainly in precision, accuracy, and consistency. Since the start of Golf, the audience and the very golfers themselves could only analyze the performance of their swing by seeing after impact, where the ball lies.
Now days, with the help of top notch technology High-Speed cameras that are being develop, not only the audience, but the pro golfers can benefit in seeing their swing at ultra-slow motion frames. An example of a camera that is being used by CBS sports (one of the major media broadcaster for PGA tournaments) is the Phontron´s High Speed APX Camera. By the usage of this camera, broadcasters can discuss even further the swing of a pro golfers, therefore, give a richer report to their audience.
Here is an example of video clips where this technology is being used:
Nike: Companies can take this neat tool for marketing advertising campaigns
PGA Tournaments: Enables spectators to analyze pro´s swings.
